How it works

1. Briefing

The briefing phase is the most crucial part of the search process.  We use McQuaig online tools to clarify and align the behavioural traits required for success.  Through discussions with client stakeholders, we co-develop a detailed brief about the role, its specific challenges, growth possibilities and critical success factors. 

2. Mapping

We cast a virtual net over the talent pool to identify all candidates with the right skill set to meet the criteria.  We then systematically and professionally approach every candidate using multiple methods to gain interest.  This approach gives a long list of suitable candidates for the interview and assessment phase.

3. Interviews

We use a systematic approach to interviewing to remove bias and leverage the output of assessments to address potential issues.  We spend several hours interviewing each candidate over the phone and face to face to gather comprehensive, objective and verifiable data.

4. Assessment

Our rigorous assessment of candidates goes beyond the usual interview and CV.  We use  McQuaig online tools that provide a blend of videos, surveys, behavioural traits psychometrics and an intelligent way to rate candidates and calibrate opinions to avoid bias and drive alignment between the different client stakeholders.

5. Follow-up

Once the client has made their final decision, we collaborate with the hiring manager, HR team and candidate to finalise any formalities. After the first 100 days, we check in with all key stakeholders to ensure everything is on track and support onboarding if needed.

In the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with the short list of candidates, we will return your engagement fee. In addition, if a candidate we recommend leaves within one year, we will undertake a replacement search at no additional cost to you.
